What to do New Years Eve?

Here it is...New Years Eve. We will be at the church for Watch Night Communion Service at 11:00 p.m. Then we are hosting the fellowship later. Of course, the weather is not helping. It is snow/raining now with the temps expected to drop to very cold later. I hope people are safe tonight!!!

UPDATE: WATCH NIGHT CANCELLED DUE TO WEATHER. It is icy, windy, and very cold.

Mennonite Quilt

This is the quilt we purchased in Pennsylvania. I like it because it is geometrically beautiful and fits the bed so nicely. It is machine pieced and hand quilted. The pillow on top is actually a throw that folds up into a pillow. Just couldn't resist getting that one. The pillow comes from the Lapp family farm where we also purchased a signed original quilted bookbag.

Gift to the church

This was one of our gifts to the church. It is a trifold bulletin board.

Sunday School Christmas Pagent

Tough to get a good picture of the group...but this one gets most of the kids into the picture. We all sang a lot of favorite Carols and really enjoyed the presentation. Nice job kids!!

Cookie Walk...or should we say "shuffle?"

It was elbow to elbow around the cookie tables. People came from other states. They told us that they wouldn't miss the cookie walk...they look forward to it each year.

Santa and his helpers.

Santa visited our church fair. He was a big hit with the kids and some of the not so little kids, too. We took pictures with Santa, and lots of them....it was a good time.

Pennsylvania Vacation

We vacationed in Pennsylvania this year. We brought home a lovely Mennonite quilt for the guest bed.
